IMPORTANT UPDATE: Clarification by Government on the age ban on contact sport – statement by the MBA

Following the publication of the Legal Notice 76/2021 on the interpretation of the new measures (applicable till 11th April) put forth by the Government vis-à-vis the COVID19 pandemic, it has now been made clear by the Government Authorities that:

  • Persons below the age of seventeen years (17) are prohibited from participating in contact sport.
